/ Dr. Dara Byrne

Dr. Dara Byrne is the Director of Simulation Education in Healthcare for the Saolta Group and at the Irish Centre for Applied Patient Safety and Simulation at NUI Galway and University Hospital Galway.

She holds a fellowship from the RCSI, a Masters in Surgery from NUI Galway and a Masters in Medical Education from Dundee. She is an Advanced Healthcare Simulation Educator with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and is a Faculty Member in Harvard’s Gateway Train the Trainer and debriefing courses across Europe.

She is Programme Director for the MSc. in Healthcare Simulation and Patient Safety at NUI Galway.
